The Rotary Club of Georgetown cares about youth in our community. We became aware of a significant funding gap for the Intensive Youth Worker who supports young people presenting with mental health issues at the two Town-operated Youth Drop-In Centers in Georgetown and Acton. Our club reached out to other service clubs in the area, and formed a collaborative service club group that collectively donated $18,500 to the Town, to avoid interruption or reduction of this vital service, while longer-term regional funding is sought.
