A one-day event filled with great speakers and topics designed to help all club committee chairs and board members successfully fulfill their leadership roles in the coming year. We will also help to cultivate greater interest and involvement on the part of new, relatively new or under-active members. They will learn in detail about who is who in our local cluster or our district and beyond, what the various positions involve, and how they can be drawn into Rotary beyond the weekly club meetings.
The key people in roles such as Secretary, and Treasurer, and chairs of committees such as Fund Raising, Membership, and Rotary Foundation will be updated and inspired. The newer members will be better informed to consider taking on a leadership role in the future. This event is a great avenue for all Rotarians to better understand the machinery of Rotary and help their club remain vibrant and effective.
We're excited to hear the news that our next exchange student will be Anna from Austria! Anna will be joining us in the late summer to attend GDHS. Also, Katie, our 'outbound' exchange student will soon be on her way to Brazil.
