Stories

Dustin and Robert of 2FortyTwo Church visited our club this morning to introduce themselves and give us the opportunity to support the Food Bank via a Canoe Raffle.  The canoe is custom made and the pictures we saw were beautiful!

Click on the canoe image below to get to their website to purchase your tickets now!

Rotarian Susan shared her knowledge with us about Indiegogo crowdfunding on Friday, August 8 at our regular Friday morning meeting.

Thanks Susan - it's an eye opening topic!

This month Rotary International has an article on crowdfunding as well, read it at Secrets of a Successful Crowdsourcing Campaign.

If you interested to see more info on Susan's fundraising efforts for her friend Steve, have a look at their Indiegogo campaign at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/esther-the-wonder-pig-farm-sanctuary or just have a look at what else is out there looking for funding on the Indiegogo Website.

Get a ticket for a chance to win this Honda Civic Sedan and support the completion of the Universally Accessible Children's Playground at Dominion Gardens Park in Georgetown, Ontario.  Tickets are 1 for $100 or a 3 pack for $250.
